Bunbury Theatre

Since 1985, Bunbury Theatre has been a main staple on the Louisville theatrical landscape. With a new state-of-the-art theatre at The Henry Clay building on 3rd and Chestnut, Bunbury continues to further its mission of creating enriching and diverse live theatrical experiences for the community and its artists in an intimate, professional setting.   Bunbury's 144-seat theatre rivals any in the tri-state region.

Under the direction and leadership of Producing/Artistic Director Juergen K. Tossmann, Bunbury produces a variety of theatrical performances in the spirit of Off-Broadway.   Bunbury also partners periodically with groups to produce special social-oriented productions, such as the acclaimed My Name Is Tracy – a look at domestic violence produced in partnership with The Center for Women and Families.

Highlights of the 2007-8 regular season include the Pulitzer Prize winning Rabbit Hole and the popular holiday favorite,  A Don’t Hug Me Christmas Carol.  The upcoming 2008-9 season kicks off with the comedic Beau Jest and will include a Pulitzer winning Edward Albee production of Seascape.  For more information on Bunbury Theatre visit www.bunburytheatre.org
